Hand to Mouth

Hand to Mouth have been working in school for the past 16 years initially this was leading assemblies using puppetry. In the year 2000 we became a registered charity and employed me Margaret Redfearn as manager. Each school term we reach in the region of 20,000 children with the good news of God’s love for them. Over the years our work has changed and round about 5 years ago we launched An Amazing Journey into a Holy Space these are prayer journeys for children. They are the brain child of Ruth Coates who left her job in a local school to work for Hand to Mouth. The power in the Journeys is immense and we have seen electively mute children speak, others have told us that Jesus walked around the Journey with them and more have told us that for the first time in their lives they believe God to be real. The stories are endless. We also offer schools classroom support with RE and take Godly Play into many schools. We have a further 3 workers going out into schools with us plus a vast number of volunteers. God is so good to us and goes ahead of us in all we are doing. We are so blessed by a large number of supporters who pray and give to us financially. Amongst our recent funders we have received monies from the John James Charitable Trust and The Women’s World Day of Prayer, we are also supported by many churches for which we are most grateful.
