Andrei Miraute was a keen Christian who during his mid-teens had felt the Lord’s call to enter pastoral ministry. Emanuel University in Oradea was his natural choice of institution, for its excellent tuition and emphasis on evangelistic outreach, but his family’s limited means made starting there very difficult, if not impossible. The John James Charitable Trust kindly intervened, and over the following three years Andrei completed his studies, at times at the top of his class and, in September 2017, commenced a pastorate in the town of Sifronea. For this, he is thankful to God and the John James Charitable Trust for their financial support. The Romanian church stands in desperate need of committed, faithful pastors.
